Some lab test requires you to fast beforehand. If we order a fasting test, you should not eat or drink any liquids except for water, for 12 hours prior to the test (usually before 10 am).

We strive to draw the minimum amount of blood required for the tests. The number of tubes required will vary with each test, but we will only collect what is needed at the time of collection.

For general x-ray exams (i.e. chest, hand, feet and spine), patients may eat or drink prior to the exam.
